Colorful Collages ~ A La Carte Art Camp

Offered as part of our Express Yourself week of art camp, which allows participants to attend single days or the entire session. Thursday, June 26th is Colorful Collage Day. Together we will create artwork inspired by the collages of Henri Matisse, Eric Carle, and Romare Bearden. Young artists will use painted paper to make freestyle collages with geometric and organic shapes. Our goal is for these collages to be based on each artist's choice of theme or place: the ocean, jungle, a city, a circus, etc. Next, we will use found objects, magazines, ephemera, book pages, old music, and found objects to create collages that tell a unique story. Offered from 9am-1pm Ages 5 and up $45 per Child Please send a bag lunch.
